Here's my knitting for the week. I just started the Entomology shawl (on the right) last night. I'll probably have to rip out most, if not all, of that because the beads are very tricky and I'm trying to learn how to do them. I have a couple more rows to see if I've done the "dragonfly" correctly, but I know I've messed up the stitch count on some of the other parts and I'll have to rip it back. I wonder how hard that will be with all those beads on there????
I'm keeping it in that little vessel because the beads on the yarn keep causing me headaches. The yarn is Madelinetosh Merino light and I love it. Love. Love. Love.
Here's a closeup of the Linen Stitch scarf. The color in the first pic is the closest; these 2 are too yellow. Yuck. But I thought you'd like to see how the stitches look. This is the right side. It really does begin to look like woven fabric, especially if you chose better colors than I did.
Reading is still Alice I Have Been. Scheduled to be finished and discussed at this Sunday's book club. Guess I better put down my knitting....

Linking up with Ginny so you can find out what everyone else is knitting and reading!
I really like the Madelinetosh yarn. Gorgeous color. But I love the practical look of the other scarf. Wonder how that would go using cotton?
