Yarning Along

There's not much yarning along this week.  I get a little time each day to knit, but mostly I'm moving from one activity to another.  And I thought I wouldn't know what to do with myself this week!  It's amazing how we find stuff to do, or just plain make extra work for ourselves.  And those 2 wonderful kids who came home from college are adding to the laundry, although you wouldn't think it would be that much extra.

  The reading mostly consists of

a.  addresses from my mailing list
b.  my to-do list.

I think I'm up to about 3 inches of that 600+ stitch ruffle. I really hope to finish by the end of the year, although even if I finish the knitting, the binding off will take for.ev.er.

Well, off to get dinner and laundry moving and address a few more Christmas cards.

Are you in a frenzy of activity this week, too??

You can see what everyone else is knitting here.

  3. This is very intriguing. I just wonder what it is that you are going to produce there with all those stitches!
The wool looks absolutely to die for!
My reading is up by my bed. I read about 10 minutes and then fall asleep...so I forgot to post about it!

    Merry Christmas!

  4. Hi Sara,
Here's a short post that offers an antidote for the "frenzy" of this wk:

  6. I love the fact that your reading resembles mine - it's all about the address book at this time of year! Updating it especially as the cards come in...

  7. I'm glad you're binding off all those stitches and not me! ;-)

  8. So many of you beautiful online women are knitting such lovely things. I'm one part inspired and one part envious!

(Okay, maybe one part inspired and two parts envious.)

(I'll keep you posted on how I work through those percentages.)

Have a blessed Christmas, Sara! Thank you for your online friendship.
