Knitting and Reading

I sort of have my act together (today) so I can participate in the Yarn-along today.

I brought my sweater in from the car so you can see how it's going. It's just a lump of beautiful, soft gray alpaca.

I'm enjoying the book, but it seems to be taking me as long as the sweater is.

Do you see all those stitches on the needles?  It's about 6-freaking-hundred.  And I have to do another 4.5 inches of 1x1 rib.

What I need is a really bad traffic jam.  There aren't enough stoplights as it is.

Joking.  Really.

  6. Love your sweater. Wow -- that is a bunch of stitches! I had to give up car knitting because I kept pulling the needles out and losing track of where I was.
