I'm barely in time for Ginny's Yarn Along today. It's been a busy day and having to wait more than half the day for someone to wake up and take some pictures for me....well, you know.
Ta-Da!
Here it is, finally, after almost 5 months of sitting at traffic lights, and quite a bit of time at home in the last few weeks!
At one point, the week before Christmas, my circular need broke! I had to buy a new one and I spent an hour and a half (!!!) moving the (600+) stitches to the new needle. Then I spent only about 5 minutes with a crochet hook repairing the 20 stitches that had slipped off during the disaster and needed to be "re-knit".
It got very drapey with blocking and I love it!
I haven't been reading much of anything this week except textbooks and blogs, but I have a couple of books on request at the library. Can't wait to see if something arrives before I go there tomorrow!
I want one! It's wonderful! Great knitting job, and the colour is spectacular!
