Sally Clarkson's post today is a must-read if you, like me, are scared and saddened by the turn our country has taken. It's appalling that our elected officials have so steadfastly refused to heed the wishes of their constituents, and have caved in to the pressure of the president. Where are the checks and balances?
In the midst of all this "hope and change" there is one constant. Jesus still awaits us in the tabernacles. He's still there to comfort and hold us during these trials.
And that's good to know. He gives me reason to hope. (Gosh, I hate using that word now, lest someone be confused as to Who is giving me Hope!)
Thanks for the link to Sally's post. I needed to read that today.
ReplyDeleteLet's both hang onto Hope with both hands and hearts.

Sara, I haven't visited your blog in so long, but I needed to read your post about all that's going on in the U.S. government.
ReplyDeleteIt is good to know that God is on His throne, despite the chaos and turmoil that we experience here on earth. :-) Thank you for reminding me. God bless you.
