It's not really supposed to be funny. In my twisted mind, it looks like the stew is wearing an acorn squash bra! :-) That was dinner from the new crock pot last night----stew meat, a dozen cloves of garlic, chopped onion, S&P, marjoram (if you have it, which I didn't), and broth. Just cut the squash in half and throw it on top. It was yummy. It would have been good on top of rice to soak up the juices.

Scary crock pot explosion! I worry about stuff like that and my husband always pooh poohs me. See...it does happen!
ReplyDeleteI make a chipotle beef stew which we eat in the squash halves and THEY soak up the juice. Yum.
I hope you have a great Thursday. ;-)
Oh my! I would have freaked if mine exploded too! Glad you got one for free!! That is awesome. Gotta love Amazon.
ReplyDeleteI love reading Winnie the Pooh! It is one of the best parts of Kindergarten year, curling up on the couch and making funny Eeyore voices.
Tee hee... squash bra!
Now I am trying to think of something to make in my crockpot for dinner. Hope it doesn't explode!
After my crockpot explosion, I did the next safest thing (haha!) when I needed dinner cooking: I left it in the dutch oven on the stove on low! While I was gone! Thank goodness the house didn't burn down.
