I sort of have my act together (today) so I can participate in the Yarn-along today.
I brought my sweater in from the car so you can see how it's going. It's just a lump of beautiful, soft gray alpaca.
I'm enjoying the book, but it seems to be taking me as long as the sweater is.
Do you see all those stitches on the needles? It's about 6-freaking-hundred. And I have to do another 4.5 inches of 1x1 rib.
What I need is a really bad traffic jam. There aren't enough stoplights as it is.
Joking. Really.
I can't believe you are HAND knitting that beautiful sweater, it is gorgeous! I love alpaca and the softness is clear through the photographs!
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a gorgeous sweater! So fine is the yarn, so cozy!
ReplyDeleteI love alpaca and that grey is so soothing, it will be beautiful, all 600 stitches :)

Oh I just LOVE working with alpaca. It is so incredibly soft :) Your sweater must feel so nice to the touch... all 600 stitches many rows over *grin*. Enjoy the rest of your week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping in, everyone! I love this yarn and after many thousands of stitches, it still feels wonderful! I can't wait to wear it!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your sweater. Wow -- that is a bunch of stitches! I had to give up car knitting because I kept pulling the needles out and losing track of where I was.
